What do we want from you?

We want quality, reliable, flexible and professional staff. If you accept a shift, we expect you to attend it. We behave in a courteous, friendly and professional manner to our staff - we expect the same from you when dealing with our office staff or when on duty. Our reputation and repeat bookings depends upon you.

If you want to join our agency you will need to:

  • Make an appointment with a recruitment consultant
  • Bring a recent resume, three professional references and photo ID 
  • Take along your bank account details and tax file number
  • Your superannuation details (if in Australia)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Current Immunisation records
  • Produce your Authority to Practice (if a nurse)
  • Submit to a Criminal Record & Working with Children Check (Required regulation)
  • Agree to participate in in-house training sessions and customer local service inductions
  • Agree to wear the Global uniform while on shift
  • Complete and adhere to the Global induction and paperwork in compliance

Do we offer incentives to our staff?

Global operates a "Refer a Friend" scheme. Here's how it works:

  • If you refer a Registered Nurse to Global you will be paid $100.
  • All payments are made in tax free gift vouchers and are payable once 10 shifts have been completed.
  • At various times of the year depending upon our staffing requirements, we expand the scheme to cover other types of healthcare & disability workers (Ask one of our Recruitment Consultants for details)
